Whether you are one of the 400+ educators who are planning to attend The Lead Learners/All Write Summer Institute 2018, or you’re planning to follow along via the Twitter feed #TheLeadLearners18, there is someone for YOU. Our lineup is — quite simply — remarkable.

In fact, it is understandable that you may have trouble narrowing down which sessions to attend…or which books to read this summer!

The best thing you can do is click on the flyer and open the PDF copy with hyperlinks to each of the speakers. All you have to do is click on the headshot of each speaker and you’ll travel to their websites to learn more about them. For those who are attending Summer Institute, check out the speaker bios in your digital Registration Materials folder.

And, don’t forget about Twitter! Even with new social media platforms, Twitter still remains my BEST SOURCE of professional development. Hop on and tag the speakers you are looking forward to hearing. Make sure to use our conference hashtag: #TheLeadLearners18. If you’re shy, just click the links below to read their feeds.

We’ve created a chart to help you sort out your personal can’t-miss sessions (or books). Naturally, our speakers are ROCK STARS and there is very little they can’t do. However, just like the rest of us, they have limited time. This chart helps you see their specialities and interests, as well as areas they haven’t focused on (yet). Also, please know this isn’t anything formal or scientific. It’s our gut based on what we know of the speakers from hearing them speak, following their social media feeds, or chatting with them.

One more note, I often find the most unexpected learning happens in sessions where the speaker is outside of my main focus. Please be encouraged to spend some time in sessions where you will have to think outside of your corner of the world. You might be pleasantly surprised by the learning you almost missed.

PS: It’s not too late to join us for Summer Institute 2018!
