    • Ways to “test” the potential programs with kids
    • How to get feedback from teachers and students
    • Participants will bring their current phonics program.
    • Participants will have time to explore the different options and use the criteria to evaluate.
  • Deciding Which Program to Pilot
    • Process of testing the selected program(s) in classrooms
    • Templates for collecting data from teachers, as well as feedback from students.
    • Importance of modeling and observation to the process
    • Process of pitching the idea to the literacy team and then how to get administrators excited.
  • Launching a District-Wide Pilot

    • Parameters for the pilot
    • Importance of buy-in and mindset
    • Intentionally collecting data from multiple stakeholders
